How Does Social Media Make You Feel?
Goal - To produce an exhibit and prototype of a concept that will relate to those who attend Mount Royal University. The prototype collects research on those who attend the University on how social media makes them feel.
Project Statement - To construct the prototype, the project started with researching precedents that relates to the cause of social media and how it effects our emotions. The process of the project included research and brainstorming exhibits for ideas on what we wanted the exhibit to look like. The exhibit is designed to collect data on a range of emotions of anger, confidence, stress, happiness, low self-esteem, depression, loneliness, and anxiety to see how users feel while using Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The back of the exhibit shows the users what others are saying on how social media makes them feel.
